How Glow collects, uses and protects your information, on this website and in the Glow app.
Last updated: July 31, 2026
1. Scope of this policy
This policy explains how Glow handles personal information across our marketing website (glownow.ai) and the Glow application (app.glownow.ai), where you complete a short questionnaire, get matched with a practitioner, and hold sessions.
Glow connects people with a real, vetted practitioner (therapist, coach, or healer) for video sessions. We are not a healthcare provider ourselves: your practitioner delivers the actual care, and may have their own separate obligations regarding the records of your sessions.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us directly
Account and matching details: your name, email address, and the answers you give in the matching questionnaire (for example, what kind of support you're looking for), used to find you a suitable practitioner.
Practitioner applications: if you apply to join as a practitioner, the credentials, specializations, and background details you submit.
Payment details: when you pay for sessions or a membership, payment is handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card number.
Messages you send us: anything you write to our support team, or to the Glow chat assistant embedded on this site.
Information collected automatically
Basic technical logs: standard web request data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited), collected by our hosting infrastructure for security and reliability.
No tracking cookies on this website: glownow.ai does not set cookies of its own. See our Cookies Policy for the full detail, including the fonts and chat assistant we use from third parties.
The Glow chat assistant on this website sends the message you type to Google's Gemini API (a third-party AI service) to generate a reply. We don't save your chat history after you close or refresh the page.
3. How we use information
To match you with a suitable practitioner and let you book, reschedule, and hold sessions.
To process payments for sessions or memberships.
To respond to questions you send us, or that you ask the Glow chat assistant.
To review and evaluate practitioner applications.
To maintain the security, stability, and performance of our website and app.
To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Sensitive information
Because Glow helps you find mental health and wellbeing support, some of what you share, such as the topics or challenges you're looking for help with, can be sensitive. We use this information only to match you with an appropriate practitioner and to support your sessions. We don't use it to build advertising profiles, and we don't sell it.
5. How we share information
Your matched practitioner: the information needed for them to provide your sessions.
Service providers: companies that help us run Glow, such as hosting, payment processing, and communications, bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
Legal and safety reasons: if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Glow, our users, or the public.
Business changes: if Glow is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice to you where required.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, meet legal or accounting requirements, and resolve disputes, then delete or anonymize it. Specific retention periods depend on the type of information and applicable law.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. This can include rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or the CCPA/CPRA (California).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12.
8. Children's privacy
Glow is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and Glow is not directed at anyone under 18.
9. International transfers
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where this happens, we take steps intended to keep your information protected consistent with this policy and applicable law.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post any changes here and update the "Last updated" date above. If a change is material, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know.
